It is commonly believed that the dumplings become ready as soon as they surface. But this is not always true.
How long do you need to boil them until they are ready?
It is important to know how long it takes to cook dumplings. Uncooked ones are dangerous to your health, and overcooked ones lose their appearance. The dough will tear, the broth will leak out. It is unlikely to be a satisfying meal.
Just molded ones can be served as soon as they float. Unfrozen meat cooks quickly and begins to release flavorful juice, soaking the dough.
If the dumplings are taken out of the freezer, it will take longer. It all depends on what kind of meat was used in the preparation. The minced pork dumplings are cooked in a saucepan after surfacing for another 5-7 minutes. If beef was taken as a stuffing, it is better not to hurry. The fire should not turn off earlier than 9-12 minutes.
To check whether the dumplings are ready, you can take one piece and cut it with a knife. The dough should not be raw, and inside there will be broth, which released the meat.
