To make a classic custard you will need:
- 0.5 l of milk;
- 200 gr. sugar;
- 100 gr of butter;
- 50 gr of flour;
- A pinch of vanilla;
- two eggs.
How to prepare:
- Beat eggs with a whisk in a saucepan with sugar, flour, and vanilla.
- Pour in milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly.
- Put the pot on the stove. Heat on a burner with minimum heat, stirring continuously. Bring to a boil, remove from heat.
- Stir in the butter until it melts and leave the mixture to cool.
To preserve the homogeneity of the product, cover the pan with clingfilm.
How long does custard keep in the refrigerator
Homemade custard dessert is a perishable product. In the refrigerator at t - 2-6 ° C retains consumer properties up to one day or 72 hours, if the composition does not include a little cream. The product is stored in enamel, glass, ceramic containers or plastic containers.
